Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before making dietary changes, especially if you have food allergies, intolerances, or other medical conditions. We are not responsible for allergic reactions, health incidents, or any adverse effects resulting from the use of this service.

Service Description

BISS Diet Assistant provides:

• Dietary restriction checking against a database of 300,000+ food products
• AI-powered recipe rewriting, meal planning, and restaurant menu analysis (paid tier)
• Food database search with ingredient-level safety information
• Community Knowledge Base of cached, anonymized AI results
• Food diary and symptom tracking

Accounts

• One account per person. Creating multiple accounts to abuse free-tier limits is not allowed.
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
• Sharing account access with others violates these terms.
• You must provide accurate information when creating your account.

Subscriptions and Payments

• Paid subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period.
• You can cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods.
• AI credit packs are non-refundable once purchased.
• Prices may change with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.

AI Features Disclaimer

AI-generated content — including recipe adaptations, meal suggestions, restaurant recommendations, and ingredient analysis — may contain errors. Always verify ingredient safety independently, especially for severe allergies.

AI results are cached and may appear in the anonymous Community Knowledge Base, where they can be viewed by other users. No personally identifiable information is included in cached results.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use automated tools to scrape or bulk-download data from the service
• Share your login credentials or API keys with others
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the API or services
• Use the service for any purpose other than personal dietary management
• Attempt to circumvent rate limits or usage restrictions

Account Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, abuse the system, or engage in fraudulent activity. Where possible, we will notify you before taking action and give you the opportunity to export your data.

Limitation of Liability

BISS Diet Assistant is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any information provided through the service, including AI-generated content and food database entries.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BISS shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to health incidents, allergic reactions, or dietary harm arising from use of the service.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Switzerland. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Switzerland.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to registered users via email at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
